YAEL KATZIR -
Director
Filmmaker, college
professor , wife and mother, Yael Katzir was
born in Tel Aviv in 1942 After completing the required
training in the Israeli army, Yael served as an officer in the IDF
until 1962. Studied at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, at UCLA, Los
Angeles, California and received her Doctoral Degree in History. She
completed a Masters at Boston University, MA, in Broadcasting and
Film.
Director of Beit Berl College Communal Cable Television Center, broadcasting regularly on Cable TV Channel 25, and Sattelite Channel
90 aired country wide. Previous head of History Department at Beit
Berl College, she is now a lecturer on film and history as well as
independent documentary filmmaker, director and producer; she is also
a published author.
